Social Media: The Next First Friday Fundraisers

Social-Media-Data-image2-300x300Whether it’s tweeting, liking, posting, snap-chatting or blogging, most people know about it, some are addicted to it, and some dislike it intensely. But, do we really understand how to use it to benefit our organisations?

At IFC Netherland’s next First Friday Fundraisers session on 6 March 2015, Walter van Kaam, ex-head of fundraising at Oxfam Novib and Red Cross (Netherlands), blogger, advisor and all round guru on fundraising and social media will take participants on a practical journey of discovery, exploring how social media can benefit an organisation. Understanding social media and knowing what tools to use can save time, money, get great PR and extra income!

IFC’s First Friday Fundraisers clinics are open to anyone who works for a non-profit organisation, and who is interested in fundraising. If you have a question, challenge, or looking for some fresh ideas for your fundraising work, then these sessions are for you.

Cost is 10 euros, however, bring a friend along and you will get in for half price.

Following the session, there will be an opportunity to network with Walter and other participants over a beer or glass of wine…after all it is Friday!

If would like to reserve a place on the next First Friday Fundraisers session, taking place at 14:00hrs on 6 March 2015 at The Jam Workspace, Amsterdam, please email

We look forward to seeing you there.
